About Me

As a graphic designer, I came into a marketing and sales role at a mobile advertising startup (AerServ) in 2014. There, I moved quickly and wore many hats. I learned how to communicate and empathize with customers, how to collect product feedback, how to design effective sales decks, and how to growth-hack the platform to increase adoption and revenue. Soon, I was able to leverage these skills and product knowledge to champion our customers as the platform designer.

In 2018, AerServ was proudly acquired by the world's leading mobile marketing and advertising platform provider - InMobi. Through 2019, I continued to lead the full pipeline of the supply-side platform experience for InMobi - working with business leaders, product management, and engineering to create experiences that are informed by market analysis, design intuition, and empathy.

Today, you'll find me challenging myself in E-commerce at iHerb - working within a UX team to create a new design system, while discovering opportunities to optimize the Health & Wellness retail experience.

Education

Philosophy is the study of seeking knowledge with an emphasis on evaluating the conditions of its validity. Studying Philosophy at UC Irvine taught me to be curious and helped me develop a thirst for logic and validation. As a UX designer, it's critical to ask the right questions, to research effectively, to synthesize large amounts of information concisely, and to communicate logical conclusions effectively to an audience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at UC Irvine and look forward to returning to study Human Computer Interaction at some point in the future.
